LoD 50 Rapid Test
The LoD value (limit of detection) is essential for assessing the quality of a rapid test. The lower the value, the better and more sensitive the test. This is because the lower the number of viruses at which the test reacts.
The Vazyme rapid test has a LoD value of 50 TCID50/ml.

All necessary materials are included in the test kit. The test tube already contains the necessary amount of buffer solution and the test result appears after only 10 minutes already.

The Vazyme test can be used in three different ways: As a throat swab (1), as a nasal swab in the anterior (2) and posterior (3) nasal region. The test application is therefore very flexible and can be individually adapted to the needs of any test person.

Test procedure
- Use one of the test sticks supplied for the swab.
Possible swab types: (1) throat swab or (2) anterior nasal swab or (3) posterior nasal swab. - Open the white cap of the test tube.
- After the swab has been taken, place the test stick in the tube (into the elution buffer) and stir 10 times.
- While pulling out the stick, squeeze the tube to leave the eluent on the swab completely in the elution tube.
- Close the test tube with the transparent cap.
- Mix the sample by gently turning the tube upside down, squeeze the tube to add 4 drops to the sample well of the reagent card.
- Visually read the result after 10 minutes.
